Description

The Crawford Art Gallery is a National Cultural Institution, dedicated to the visual arts, both historic and contemporary.
The Crawford Art Gallery is an LGBT Ally.
The gallery provided a venue for the annual LGBT Art Auction which was held during the 1990s and was one of the main fundraisers for The Other Place LGBT Community Centre.
The Crawford Art Gallery also hosted the 1st Lesbian and Gay Film Festival in 1991.
The Crawford Art Gallery has run LGBT tours of its collections as part of the annual Cork LGBT Awareness Week.
