An account of the resource
In 1997 an Introduction to Lesbian Studies course was run over two weekends in the Other Place in Cork. It was organised as part of the EU funded LEA / NOW (Lesbian Education and Awareness / New Opportunities for Women) programme. The course ran in March and April 1997 and covered topics including A History of the Lesbian Movement in Ireland, Equality, Ethics, Lesbian Organising, Literature, Lesbian Sexual Practice and Social Policy.
