Description

Munster LCGN (Lesbian & Gay Community News) was a four page supplement to the Irish GCN (Gay Community News) newspaper. It was produced in The Other Place LGBT Resource Centre in Cork in the 1990s. It was a Wrap Around, placed on the outside, of GCN in Munster and was an insert in the newspaper in the rest of the country.

The October 2 1993 LGCN issue contains articles about: '45,000 March' march on the HQ of the neo-Nazi British National Party, Government Apathy to AIDS, Pics from the flics, Vienna - Gay Café Society, Coming Out - why are we afraid to come out to our parents?, Literate Dykes!, Munster Diary, Public order bill to hit lesbians and gays, Cotter buttermilk stew, and advertisement such as; AIDS alliance Cork, Quay Co-op, Loafers bar, the other place, Waterstones booksellers, The woodland gallery, Mont Bretia Bed and Breakfast, Grigorovich Ballet.
