The tour is a collaboration between the Cork LGBT Archive and Cork Pride 2020.
Plaques were placed on buildings of significance to the Cork LGBT community, with QR codes linking to exhibits on the Cork LGBT Archive.
The tour takes you to some of the sites of significance for Cork LGBT history. From the site of Cork’s first Gay Centre in MacCurtain Street in 1976, though the activism of the 1980s with the Quay Co-op and Loafers, to the 1990s with The Other Place LGBT Centre and the first Lesbian Centre, through to current times with LINC and the Gay Project.
