A newsletter by Gay Health Action (G.H.A). First page states "Gay Health Action is A Year Old". Second page contains mini-reports from the collectives in Cork, Derry, Belfast, and Dublin. Second page also contains a newspaper clipping of a column written by Julian Meldrum for "Capital Gay" - a weekly free gay newspaper, published in London, founded by Graham McKerrow and Michael Mason. Article discusses studies by the "Vancouver Lympadenopathy research project" and "U.S. Centers for Disease Control and San Francisco Public Health Department" assessing the statistics and risks of contracting HTLV-3 from oral sex. Article also mentions a letter to "The Lancet", a weekly peer-reviewed general medical journal, claiming to have detected "African Swine Fever Virus" (ASFV) in the blood of a number of AIDS patients. Third page is a newspaper clipping of an article written by John Armstrong for the Irish Times, entitled "AIDS risk for 28% of heroin patients", dated "Saturday, 22 March, 1986". Fourth page is entitled "G.H.A. newsletter No. 8, March W/E [week ending]28, 1986" and contains the "Dublin Report" for AIDS Action Alliance. Fifth page is a letter written to G.H.A., Cork Gay Collective and Lesbian Collective, by Mick Quinlan on behalf of DLBC [Dublin Lesbians and Gay Mens Collectives], dated March 1986. Requests to raise money for the DLBC Book. Sixth page is an advance information sheet for the book entitled, "Out for Ourselves: The Lives of Irish Lesbian and Gay Men", edited by Clodagh Boyd.
