Research proposal by Gay Health Action to evaluate the significance in Ireland of an emerging trend in other countries involving an increasing reluctance of gay/bisexual men taking the HIV test and an increase in the rate of positive results. Research objectives, methodological approach, and financial breakdown of budget are discussed.
