"Original Papers" from Irish Medical Journal, September 1993, Volume 86 No 5 entitled "Irish general practice and the human immunodeficiency virus" by Bradley F, Bury G, O'Kelly FD, Shannon W. HIV Primary Care Research Unit. 478 South Circular Road, Dublin 8. Abstract states that "[o]ver a quarter (499) of general practitioners in the Republic of Ireland were sent a questionnaire on the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection." Notes that "[a] large majority (77.6%) of HIV positive people identified by the survey were attending general practitioners in the Eastern Health Board area." Pages 152 to 153 covers method, results, discussion and references.

Final page is page 15 of a different paper from Irish Medical Journal January/February Volume 87 No 1. Covers discussion and references. States that, [c]early the evolution of AIDS in Ireland to date has been dominated by the homosexual and intravenous drug user transmission groups. [...] Our results show that there will be at least a seven-fold increase in the number developing Aids in future years."
