Youth Work And Queerbashing Leaflet Planning
Queer activism
Youth (LGBTQ)
Queer youth
Handwritten document which begins by describing the motivations for young men to join a youth group. On second page, a number of names are mentioned, along with Dublin Pride, an annual report, and training. Pages 3 & 4 include a series of events and venues with specific days of the week. Page 5 has a breakdown of pricing for condoms and lube. Page 6 describes the group being setup by the Southern Gay Health Project, and includes topics such as self-esteem, homophobia, support, HIV/AIDS, and life experiences. On pages 7-9 is a letter from Ronan Watters, The Other Place, 8 South Main Street, Cork to Angus regarding the Queerbashing leaflet. Watters states what must be included in the leaflet, and the types of people who should be included.

Discusses access to condoms to help prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS. Mentions the national campaign by 'Condom Sense' - "a new group which has strong representation in Cork" and how "[n]ew Minister for Health Dr John O'Connell is to come under pressure from his own party's youth wing, Ógra Fianna Fáil to back moves for greater access to condoms".
Second page is a clipping from Cork Examiner entitled "Access to Condoms" and dated "14 February 1992". Mentions Fianna Fáil's youth wing, Ógra Fianna Fáil and the 'Condom Sense' campaign. Also mentions The Health (Family Planning) Act of 1979 and how the demand for contraception was changed by Mary McGee who "won an action in the supreme court allowing married people to purchase contraceptives on prescription in Ireland."

Written on the Soul
Transgender
Documentary
This film explores gender identity in Ireland. It focuses on two main questions: what is gender identity and where is it located in the individual (is it in the heart, is it in the body, is it in the soul?). Three Irish based transgender people, Lucie/Richard, Diane and Stephen, answer these questions from the position of their own gender journey experiences.
This film was screened at the Cork Film Festival, Belfast Film Festival, Sheffield Videotheque, Lesbian Lives Conference, the Irish Transfusion Festival and in Budapest.
