Laura Harmon is a Cork Gay Activist.
Laura was born in Brighton, England in 1986 and grew up in Ballyvourney, Co. Cork.
She was Auditor of UCC LGBT Society and was elected LGBT Rights Officer for UCC Students’ Union.
Laura was very active in the campaign for Marriage Equality and Trans rights.
Laura was President of the Union of Students in Ireland in 2015, leading the student campaign for Marriage Equality. She was also Head of Mobilisation for Together for Yes campaing to Repeal the 8th Amendment in 2018.
