Munster LCGN (Lesbian & Gay Community News) was a four page supplement to the Irish GCN (Gay Community News) newspaper. It was produced in The Other Place LGBT Resource Centre in Cork in the 1990s. Donal Sheehan was the Editor. It was a Wrap Around, placed on the outside, of GCN in Munster and was an insert in the newspaper in the rest of the country.
The May 1993 LGCN issue contains articles about: A demand for law reform, a march in Washington D.C. to remove the ban on gay people in the military; more funding for AIDS and an end to discrimination on the basis of sexual preference. Articles on the Lesbian Identity, a book reading from Sarah Schulman's book 'Empathy', and clarification on a rumour that UCC Queer Soc had split into two factions.
It includes a Horoscope column and adverts from Amazonia BnB, the Women's Weekend, Mont Bretia BnB, Waterstones, Cork AIDS Alliance, Art hive, Women's Disco, and Corks only Vegetarian Restaurant.
