sh...Out!! is a newsletter that was compiled by members of The Other Place. Articles include "Buddha Bashing" about the Dalai Lama, "Legal Status for Lesbian and Gay Couples on the way in France", "Stars Wanted" about casting call for Deirdre Purcell's "Falling for a Dancer", "Flirt with Lesbians?" about "Flirt!" magazine based in London, "Tennis Tease" about Wimbledon, "Lesbus" as a follow up from the visit from the Lesbus women from Holland, the Other Place will hold a space to talk about feelings around what it is to be a lesbian/bisexual artist/creative person, "Saint Norris?" about the statement from the Vatican that gay people can be saints from Senator David Norris, "'Bound' for Cork" about the films 'Bound' and 'Set it off', "News in Briefs" about a new mens underwear design, "Off the Shelf" about the work of two Irish writers featured in a new international anthology of Lesbian writing 'Countering the Myths: Lesbians Write about the men in their lives' edited by Rosamud Elwin; short story by Emma Donoghue and Diane Searis are included. "Have Cork Gays and Lesbians got any pride left?" commenting on the lack of pride events in Cork, "Rewriting Rock" new Melissa Etheridge books, "Galway Pride" about the Galway Pride programming, "Cyndi said", "Why sh...Out?" about the purpose of sh...Out, filling the hole that Inside Out has left, "Television highlights", "Gay information Ireland", Ads from Boxing Cat Grill, The Other Side Cafe, Loafers Bar, "Listings" for gay-friendly or gay-owned establishments
