Joan McCarthy, lesbian feminist activist, speaking at a feminist rally outside the GPO (General Post Office) in Dublin in 1985. Joan, representing the Dublin Lesbian and Gay Collective, spoke about lesbian visibility at the rally which was protesting the injustices meted out to Irish women such as Joanne Hayes, Eileen Flynn and Anne Lovett.
