Munster LCGN (Lesbian & Gay Community News) was a four page supplement to the Irish GCN (Gay Community News) newspaper. It was produced in The Other Place LGBT Resource Centre in Cork in the 1990s. It was a Wrap Around, placed on the outside, of GCN in Munster and was an insert in the newspaper in the rest of the country.
The September 1992 issue of Munster LGCN includes an article by a priest criticising the Catholic Church's homophobic stance, on child sexual abuse, the Limerick gay scene, a coming-out story, the 2nd Irish Lesbian and Gay Film Festival, and lesbian lifestyles. The Comment focuses on gay rights, the attitudes of politicans, and the reopening of David Norris's case in the European Court of Human Rights against Ireland.
It includes adverts for Mont Bretia and Amazonia women's B&Bs, Waterstones Patrick Street, Riddled with Gorgeous, Quay Co-op restaurant and shop, Kaya's Kettle, and The Other Place Lesbian and Gay Disco.
