Munster LCGN (Lesbian & Gay Community News) was a four page supplement to the Irish GCN (Gay Community News) newspaper. It was produced in The Other Place LGBT Resource Centre in Cork in the 1990s. Donal Sheehan was the Editor. It was a Wrap Around, placed on the outside, of GCN in Munster and was an insert in the newspaper in the rest of the country.
The February 1994 LGCN issue contains articles about: "'Priest on Trial' to Visit Cork" about Fr. Bernard Lynch, "Exits and Entrances..." about a call for submissions for a anthology celebrating decriminalisation, "National Lottery Makes Gay Sex Less of a Gamble" about Protect and Respect which is a pamphlet produced by Southern Health Board, "3,000 Calls to Limerick" about the occasion of the 3,000th call to the Gay Switchboard and Lesbian line in Limerick, "UCC Philosoph Does it Again" about an offensive cartoon published by the UCC Philosophy Society, "Hurray ... Boo!" about D.J. Diane at the women's disco, "Naught Don Phobail Aerigh" about the first time an article in the GCN was written in Irish and a call for more Irish writers and the GAA is good to meet people, "Postcard from New York" about the soap opera 'Burning Habits', "Fun and Gay Times at UCC" about planned events held by the University College Cork LesBiGay Society including Fr. Bernard Lynch's talk, a debate, a series of video-session nights, Queers on the Quad, a poster display and a Disco Party held at the Blackrock Castle, as well as a reminder of their twice weekly meetings, "Buck Speaks", "Business and Pleasure?!" which encourages LGBT community to not support homophobic businesses, "Munster Diary", Ads for AIDS alliance, Loafers Bar, Mont Bretia, Quay Coop, Waterstones Bookshop, The Woodland Gallery, Alternative Ireland Directory, The Other Place.
