Description

Orla Egan discusses the importance of Trade Unions as allies for the Cork LGBT Community and the various events held in Connolly Hall, including the 1981 National Gay Conference and the 1984 Women's Fun Weekend. The speech was delivered in Connolly Hall at the launch of the Cork Outing the Past LGBTQ+ History Festival in February 2020. Connolly Hall is owned by SIPTU Trade Union (Services, Industrial, Professional and Technical Union).
