Letter from Owen Metcalfe, Chief Education Officer, Hawkins House, Dublin 2 to Southern Gay Health Project, c/o The Other Place, 8 South Main Street, Cork and dated 10th October 1997. Metcalfe refers to a seminar, "Strategies for Communication" to be held at Dublin Castle, to mark World AIDS Day 1997. Aims of seminar are: a) review the ways that messages about AIDS have been presented b) provide opportunities for people to share experiences c) consider most effective messages to use. Metcalfe invites a member of the organisation to apply for a place in the seminar. Application to be sent to Ms Paula Monks.
