Minutes for Gay Health Action meeting (Dublin), dated 20 August 1985. First page refers to a letter from "Medical Laboratory Technologists Association received in response to our letter to all medical unions re. S.T.D services read to meeting [sic]." Also discusses finances, and "Tony O'S [Shea] reports that Dr Freedman suggests that G.H.A. meets him to discuss our fears/distrust of the medical profession etc." Second page covers response to Sunday independent article and "Body-right programme, R.T.E. [Raidió Teilifís Éireann] radio Tuesday 27 August 1985. "R.T.E. request G.H.A. representative for programme on AIDS with Dr. Freedman and Dr. J. Walshe (Dept. of Health). Second pages also mentions fact-pack, leaflet on AIDS test, report of conference, newsletter and interview for second worker. Third page is entitled "Testing, a draft document on 'Policy and Actions'." Refers to the breaching of consent and confidentiality in HIV blood testing at "S.T.D clinics" in Dublin, and possibly Cork.
