Description

Press Statement by Arthur Leahy, spokesperson for Condom Sense, dated 01 July, 1992 and addressed Box 20, 7/8 Augustine Street, Cork. Letterhead reads: "Condom Sense! A common sense approach to sexual health". Mentions Leahy's condemning of Dr O'Hanlon, Minister for Health, "for pussyfooting around" because he "is refusing to deal with the real problem." Asks why the Minister has prohibited the distribution of condoms via vending machines. Notes that vending machines are "an effective method of distribution" because they offer "a greater amount of anonymity and provide greater availability." Calls on the government to change legislation to allow for the selling of condoms through vending machines. Footer reads: "Dublin Office 746657 P.O. Box 3367".
