Description
Generic Letter by Rachel Martin and Clare Watson on behalf of Condom Sense, P.O. Box 3367, Dublin 7. Dated 21 January, 1991. Discusses the unsuccessful "widening" of the law, Irish legislation prohibiting the sale of condoms in outlets other than chemists, health centres, STD or Family Planning Clinics. Notes that "Condom Sense has been established to mount a campaign for realistic legislative change", ensuring that condoms become "widely available in accessible venues throughout Ireland". Mentions the launch of the campaign will commence on St. Valentine's Day with the installation of a number of condom vending machine in pubs, clubs, and other outlets around the country". Also mentions that "[m]any well-known personalities" will be participating. Requests public support from organisations.
