First page mentions the dual and co-equal aims of the project and the need for the project in Ireland. Lists the voluntary AIDS organisations actively supporting the development of the Irish Quilt Project. Notes that after the launch and display tour, it is hoped that a permanent space will be obtained from where the project can be administered and further developed. Also notes the facilitation of workshops and the permanent availability of the Irish Quilt for display at number of various different events and locations.
Second pages is entitled "The Names Project _ The AIDS Memorial Quilt". Explains the unique concept of The Names Project, an International AIDS Memorial. Provides an outline of the goals of the Names Project. Notes that the Names Project "has become an invaluable resource for promoting a compassionate and educational dialogue about AIDS."
