UCC Students' Union Queer Mural is a celebration of the diverse queer population of University College Cork. The art work is a recognition of the struggles faced by the LGBTQ+ community on a daily basis. The mural is located on 54 College Road by the UCC Students' Union, and serves as a reminder that UCC campus is a safe space for all members of the LGBTQ+ community and Queer joy is everlasting. Alannah O'Connor, the UCCSU Welfare Officer, led the project and collaborated with the talented artist Eadaoin Flynn, a student in the Creativity and Change Programme in CCAD, who created the mural.
