Description
A photograph of the crowd attending the Aidan Moffitt and Michael Snee Vigil in Bishop Lucey Park (also known as Peace Park) in Cork City on 18 April, 2022. The vigil was held in response to the murder of two gay men, Aidan Moffitt and Michael Snee, in Sligo. Irish politicians were in attendance. Choral Confusion (centre), Cork's LGBT+ Choir attended. Also pictured are Cork LGBT Archive members and future volunteers Darren and Richard. Saoirse Mackin from Trans Pride Cork is on the right.
