Description
A photograph of Kieran Rose at Gay Sweatshop Cork in 1980. Gay Sweatshop was formed in London in 1975 and had its roots in the lunchtime theatre club "Ambience" held at the Almost Free theatre. In 1980 the london-based gay theatre group performed their play "Blood Green" in the Granary Theatre in Cork. This was one of the first events organised by the newly formed Cork Gay Collective.
