A photograph of Cork gay activist, Kieran Rose, in the early 1980s.
Kieran was visiting London, staying with his sister, Sandra, and enjoying all that London had to offer in terms of gay culture and community - gay discos, gay cafes, Gays The Word bookshop, gay centre, and gay squats.
While in London Kieran would collect gay material, leaflets, newsletters and bring them back to Cork where they would be used by the Cork Gay Collective.
