The Frontline magazine, Issue 3, dated December 1989/January 1990. Front cover is entitled "80 The End of the Empty Eighties". Cover lines (advertising stories and features inside) read: fighting the downers, ten points for the long term, Christmas crackers, DDI Update. Inside cover provides information about the Irish Frontliners, "an organisation which supports people with HIV, ARC, and AIDS irrespective of Race, Sexual Orientation, Gender or Religious beliefs." Page 3 contains an editorial piece by David Esson, based on the original text by Gary Mackler. End of page mentions: "The Frontline is produced by the Irish Frontliners 13 Christchurch Place Dublin 8 531129. Editor: David Esson. Design: Joe O'Herlihy. Printer: Printplus, Glasnevin Industrial Estate Dublin." Pages 4 and 5 contains newsbriefs and an article by Michael Branwell entitled "EM-power". Pages 6 and 7 are an article by Tony Gilson entitled "Fighting the downers". Pages 8 and 9 are an article by Joseph P Sinnott entitled "Where DDI Joins the Q". Pages 10 and 11 are Christmas Crackers and refers to a piece about dealing with the media. Page 12 is an article by Geoff Cooling entitled "X ten points for the long term" and discusses long term survival with HIV. Page 13 is entitled "Education + AIDS". Page 14 is entitled "Zig & Zag in a world without HIV & AIDS". Page 15 contains listings of service providers.
